Stephanie is a kind and empathetic person that gears to help anybody she can. She is devoted to guiding individuals to become the best versions of themselves. Stephanie is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate at Yorkville University and completing her supervised practicum. She wholeheartedly believes that everyone can transform to become the best version of themselves. Stephanie utilizes counselling skills and techniques derived from person-centred and cognitive behavioural approaches while incorporating a biopsychosocial perspective into treatment. Stephanie is also passionate about working with children and young adults and hopes to pursue this goal while completing her practicum at Heartsbloom.

Stephanie also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and has extensive experience working with multi-cultural populations. Stephanie is keen on incorporating each client’s unique culture into treatment.

TREATMENT MODALITIES

Stephanie plans on utilizing therapeutic techniques from CBT, DBT and ACT. She is passionate about mindfulness-based interventions, primarily mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. In addition, Stephanie also draws from person-centred and psychodynamic approaches and believes that everyone has the potential to reach their goals and become the best versions of themselves. She also has a strong interest in art therapy and sand tray therapy.
